Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Improve the overall efficiency of the production lines through technology and automation

Duties

1) Implementation of industrial automation

2) Identify areas of constraint within the assembly process and works towards the resolution of these problems

3) Conducts work measurement activities to develop and maintain direct labor standards for all plant operations

4) Troubleshoots problems with machinery and equipment

5) Develops and maintains documents for various assembly and process operations

6) Launches new products into production

7) Uses lean manufacturing concepts 

8)  Evaluate manufacturability of products, develops appropriate assembly processes, plans appropriate tools/fixtures/gauges to achieve assembly cost targets

9)  Develop written and verbal reports on various projects

Qualifications


IE or ME degree.  Possess 5-10 years of experience Manufacturing Engineering experience in a high volume assembly operation. Knowledge of PLC programming, injection molding, CNC machining and Solidworks
