Chicago, IL (5/11/2007) - Don’t Miss Out on the 2007 ECHO Carving Series! The 2007 ECHO Carving Series will be bigger and better than ever, so be sure to follow the Qualifying Events leading to the Championship on our web site. This year’s Championship will be held Oct. 6-8 at the world-renowned Chicago Zoological Society’s Brookfield Zoo located just outside the Chicago city limits. The theme is “The Great Wild North”. And the sculptures carved during the Championship will have a home at one the most visited zoos in the world! The prize payouts are the highest yet with over $25,000 in cash alone - including a minimum payout of at least $2,000 for 6th through 8th place - not to mention the chance to go home with the prestigious “ECHO Carving Cup” trophy.
The four qualifying events are:

Accumulate points by placing 3rd, 4th, or 5th at the qualifiers and the at-large competitor(s) with the most points are in.
