ECHO-Sponsored Jamie Fischer Continues To Be A World Champion

Lake Zurich, IL (8/9/2007) - Jamie Fischer, who in 2005 broke his own World Record in Men’s Boom Run, retained his Boom Run title at the Lumberjack World Championships for the sixth consecutive time this year. Fischer has been the World Champion Boom Runner since 2001. He continued a strong showing at the event held each year in Hayward, Wisconsin, by placing second in Men’s Log Rolling.

While competing at the Stihl International Log Rolling Association Championships of Log Rolling and Boom Running, Fischer captured a silver medal in both Men’s Boom Run and Men’s Log Rolling.
