ECHO and Milwaukee Mile
Chicago, IL (5/12/2008) -
The famous phrase, “Gentlemen start your engines!” may refer to automobiles but to the grounds and safety crews at the Milwaukee Mile racetrack in suburban Milwaukee, WI, it refers to ECHO engines. ECHO Incorporated is the proud supplier of outdoor power equipment to these crews. Seven safety trucks and the grounds maintenance crews will be fully equipped with ECHO equipment ranging from blowers to hedge trimmers to chain saws. The staff at Milwaukee Mile sure is happy with the dependability of its ECHO equipment.
Kyle Burow, Operations Manager at the Milwaukee Mile says, “It’s been great to team up with ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment. Superior performance and reliability is what the Milwaukee Mile Safety team demands in high-pressure situations and we have found it in the ECHO equipment. The increased production of our grounds crew this year is directly related to the addition of the ECHO equipment. The U Turn® trimmer heads are extremely easy to use and have decreased equipment down time needed to reload string. I can not ask for anything more out of our ECHO equipment.” And Jerry Schak, Assistant Safety Director simply states, “These blowers are the cat’s meow.”
The Milwaukee Mile hosts many car races week in and week out including the NASCAR Nationwide Series, IndyCar Series, and the WI Governor’s Cup Race featuring NASCAR drivers Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch. Click on the Milwaukee Mile’s web site for schedule and other information.
