ECHO has long been involved in the art of chain saw carving through its sponsorship of individual artists and events. It’s a tradition we have supported for almost as long as we have been building the most dependable chain saws on the market.

ECHO’s Carving Team, comprised of five of the best carvers in the business, appears collectively and individually at carving events around the world. The carving team concept is unique to the industry and ECHO team members serve as great ambassadors for their art and the company.

To help further promote the sport of chain saw carving, ECHO also sponsors the ECHO Carving Series. Here pro carvers, including members of the ECHO Carving Team, compete against each other at select qualifying events leading to a face-off at the ECHO Carving Series Championship.
Don’t Miss Out on the 2007 ECHO Carving Series! This year’s Series will be bigger and better than ever, so be sure to follow the Qualifying Events leading to the Championship on our web site. This year’s Championship will be held Oct. 6-8 at the world-renowned Chicago Zoological Society’s Brookfield Zoo located just outside Chicago’s city limits. The theme is “The Great Wild North”. And the sculptures carved during the Championship will have a home at one the most visited zoos in the world! The prize payouts are the highest yet with over $25,000 in cash alone.

Competition Information
As in the past, the 1st Place and 2nd Place Pro Division carvers at each of the four qualifying events will earn a spot to compete at the Championship. Should there be any duplicate winners at the four qualifiers a point system for at-large competitors will be used. At-large competitors accumulate points by placing 3rd, 4th, or 5th at the qualifiers and the at-large competitor(s) with the most points are in.
