Completely Sold on ECHO!

To whom it may concern,

I have a story about my personal ECHO string trimmer that I feel would make a great marketing project…commercial worthy!

I am an owner of an older ECHO trimmer that my family bought used from a garage sale when I was somewhere between 10-14 years old (don’t really know exactly how old I was but I assume we could find out the age of the trimmer from the model # - GT-160AE). I used this trimmer, not only for our personal home use, but I mowed lawns and landscaped through most of my childhood using this edger. My family continued to use it until I moved to college and I’ve kept it ever since. I’ve owned my own property for 5 years now and maintain the edging along my fencing, surrounding several acres. I am currently the manager of a mine site and use this trimmer to trim around the entrance. Even though this trimmer has been great to me, I can’t say that I’ve handled it with kid gloves throughout the years. In fact, I’m 29 now, and since we’ve owned it, we have never rebuilt the carburetor or replaced the spark plug. The only repair I recall was replacing the gas tank because of a hairline crack. I don’t even drain the gas or add a gas additive during the winter. Even though I live in north Florida, our winters aren’t that mild, frequently reaching low 20’s and even teens…I usually stop mowing/edging in October, and every spring around April/March, I have pulled my ECHO out of the barn and it never fails to start in 2-4 pulls. AMAZING!

During all these years, my family has always cared for our own lawns and gardens. We’ve gone through several mowers, a couple chainsaws and trimmer of other brands. My Dad finally said, he’s “only going to buy ECHO small engine equipment.” So, his last chainsaw purchase was an ECHO, and if it’s anything like my trimmer, he might have it for the rest of his life.

None of this story contains one bit of exaggeration. I’m completely sold on your product.

Impressed with ECHO!

On the advice of my uncle who has a 25 yr old STILL-working ECHO Chainsaw, I decided to follow his advice, and give your brand a try. I am impressed. It is without a doubt, by far, the easiest to start small engine I’ve ever had. Believe me I’ve tried just about all of them. When I have to replace any other small engine equipment, I will be looking at ECHO.

Enjoyed My Edger for 18 Years!

I just wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed my ECHO (PE-2400) edger the past 18 years. I purchased it from Day Spring Mower Center in Vero Beach, Florida, on June 30, 1992 (I still have the receipt and operator’s manual) for $265 plus tax. Unfortunately, it just now broke down and is not repairable. I was hoping that my Echo edger would make it for another 2 years, to make it an even ‘20 good years’ – but I’m totally satisfied with ‘18 good years!’

You make fantastic products and I’ll be buying another ECHO edger real soon!

Cordially,

The Golf Course Pond and the PB-2100

To whom it may concern:

PB-2100

Two weeks ago I was helping a friend and while standing in his garage I noticed he had two ECHO leaf blowers, a PB-1000 and a PB-2100. I asked him to sell me one since I have an electric blower, he said he would think about it and get back with me. Last week he dropped by the house and decided to (give) me the PB-2100 and told me the story behind it. When I herd the story I decided to write this letter to you and share this amazing true story. He said 11 years ago while walking near a pond close to a golf course he noticed something sticking up from the water about two inches and went to investigate what it was. He waded out and to his surprise it was the PB-2100, it had slime on it and looked as if it had been there a while. He then cleaned it as much as he could and tried to start it, he said within two or three pulls it fired right up. He left it on the bank for a few days hoping its owner may claim it but three days later no one had claimed it so he took it home and now I am the proud new owner of this PB-2100. The blower runs great and after replacing the spark plug, a new air filter and finding the right side casing on eBay I am pleased with your product. I am a firm believer in ECHO products and will look at what ECHO has to offer in my next purchases of outdoor equipment. I have a few photos of the blower if anyone is interested and I also kept the spark plug (which is rusted) and the old air filter. Again, GOOD JOB…

Sincerely,

Wham...First Pull and Off She Goes

Hello,

As a past product manager I know that most of the time you ONLY hear the “bad” things about your products but I just felt compelled to send you a glowing endorsement of your products. Twelve years ago (or about), my wife got me an ECHO gas powered Edger for Fathers Day. That thing has run FLAWLESSLY since. Each time I go to start it …wham…1st pull and off she goes. I’m not one to throw superlatives around but that thing has worked impeccably since day one. Kudos to your design, test and manufacturing teams for the delivery of a great product. In fact, I am hoping that this Fathers Day one of those long hedge trimmers shows up from my wife.

Blower “Walks” Into Pool – Still Starts!

I wanted to write to you and let you know how much my husband and I love our ECHO PB-200 power blower. We have had it for several years and brag on it every time we use it. It cranks very easily and runs great. The main reason for this letter is to tell you about the incident I had with it this past Saturday. I was getting everything ready for our first pool party this year, and once the pool was vacuumed it was time for the power blower to clean around the pool. I was about half- way around the pool and had to stop to move two floats. I set the blower down still running, thinking it will only take a second to move the floats, just then I heard a splash, realizing that the power blower had "walked" into the pool!! I immediately jumped in and retrieved it from the bottom of the pool. It did not have time to leak any fluid into the pool, thank goodness. However, I was so upset I had done such a crazy thing and now the best power blower we have ever had was ruined. I took the blower and turned it upside down to let the excess water run out. I then sat it in the sun for only about five minutes. I was just about to call my husband to let him know what happened, when I decided to try and crank it. I want you to know I pulled the crank and it started on the first pull!! I was amazed, I finished the job I started not wanting to turn it off, for fear it would not crank back. Once I finished I turned it off and let it sit a little longer, I called my husband to let him know what had happened and he could not believe it. After that I tried to crank it again and it cranked on the first pull!! I just wanted to let you know about this great product of yours and how much we appreciate the quality of this product. Of course I told the story to all sixteen guests at the pool party and they could not believe it either. In closing, I just want to say if and when we do have to buy another power blower it will definitely be an ECHO.

Sincerely,

Kym D

A Loyal ECHO Endorser

Greetings,

As a former landscape professional I was extremely pleasantly surprised to discover your products.

Having recently moved into a home with a property that had a huge area of high grass that I initially decided to start to clear it with my Green Machine weed trimmer. After realizing this was completely inadequate my wife suggested I use the ECHO trimmer she had purchased because it was so easy to start.

To my surprise now I am, and will remain, a loyal ECHO product user, your ECHO trimmer not only out performed the previous "leader" it down right did quick work of a huge product and yes after 3 years of remaining dormant in the garage it started easily and did a fabulous job!

Thanks, great products and from now on a loyal ECHO endorser!

Same Trimmer Since 1982

Just wanted to tell someone my story that involves an ECHO string trimmer. I think about it a lot lately, every time I use it. My Dad bought it for me when we moved to this seven acre home 28 years ago. I moved from the city and had no real lawn tools, besides a mower. I couldn’t afford to buy anything but a cheap one and it was very apparent I needed one to keep up with all the grass. I have used this trimmer, (SRM200BE) for 28 years now having replaced only the head, a gas cap and I had the carb rebuilt once about two years ago. This not a shop queen, it has been used a LOT. Not only on my place, but my son, daughter and Dad’s houses also. I have the most to keep up and it still starts and runs like a champ. To me it is amazing that a power tool that has been used this much, still gets the job done every time. I have worn out three chain saws in that time. About a year ago I had to buy another one, this time I bought an ECHO, because if it works like my trimmer, I’ll have it for a long time!

Sincerely,

Reliability Year after Year

To Whom It May Concern:

I bought a SRM-210 in May of 2005. Have not done nothing to it except replace the spool and of course add line and fuel. It runs great even after setting all winter you primer it a few times and starts up with no hesitation. Thanks for a great product and keep up the good work. Thanks to the ECHO team from Upper Management to the production floor on producing such a quality product that one can rely on year after year with very little maintenance.

Why Would I Consider Any Other Brand

I wanted to convey to you my extreme satisfaction with the ECHO equipment I own. I have a chain saw and had an ECHO Grass Trimmer. I was there (Lawn & Leisure, Chantilly, VA) to purchase a replacement trimmer. I had owned an SRM model for just over ten years without a day of trouble. It always started as it should and ran perfectly trimming grass from a half acre to my present 5,000 square foot lawn. Truly, why would I even consider any other brand, it was an amazing machine and its replacement is equally easy to start and work with.

Oh, my saw can sit for 6 months and start right up. It is only 8 years old, but like the trimmer, has never let me down!

I just thought you should know.

Sincerely,

ECHO – An Easy Decision

I grew up using every brand of chainsaw out there, we had them all. When it came time for me to purchase my first chainsaw, it was an easy decision. After using every brand, ECHO impressed me the most. The value and durability are unmatched by anyone out there.

ECHO Saw Survives Watery Plunge

Today I purchased an ECHO CS-310 Chainsaw. I took it home, started her up and cutting I went. Now, I have a small private island next to my property and attempted to clear it off for use. As my neighbor and I are cutting trees along the shore, I lose my balance and where do you think the chainsaw goes (it was running)? 8ft straight to the bottom! After a few choice words I had to go in and get it! I jump in the pond, swim to the bottom and retrieved a water logged chainsaw. I thought I was doomed. I pulled the spark plug, gave her a few pulls, re-installed the spark plug and she started right up! Needless to say I did finish the job and the wife is happy! Ever think about underwater tools? haha

Bought in 1987 – Still Runs Great!

1987 GT-1000

I just got around to replacing my GT1000 with an ECHO SRM-225 Straight shaft. I was pleasantly surprised that I have had 22 straight years with the GT1000. It still runs like a champ. The only reason that I replaced it was I got the 225 as a birthday present. The GT1000 still runs great. I'm planning on selling it for $50...which is a significant discount from the $99.95 I paid back in 1987. You guys make great toys!

Love the Reliability!

We purchased our first commercial backpack blower in 1986, we replaced it 2008 with a new ECHO commercial blower. What a wonderful product. We have since purchased an ECHO Stick Edger, and today a new ECHO grass trimmer. I love the reliability and the quality of your products. I can start my equipment without hassle or the help of my husband. Thank you for making such quality equipment...Next...maybe a new ECHO chain saw!!!

Still Cranks after Truck Mis-hap!

I have an ECHO weed trimmer that I bought used last year; it has been a great machine. This past Saturday I mistakenly left my ECHO in the driveway while I did another yard task. Our son didn’t know it was there and he backed our truck out and ran it over. The trimmer was caught under the truck and it looked totally destroyed. We managed to get it out and believe it or not it still cranked! I have to replace the throttle trigger and spark plug and plug wire, but it should work after these things are replaced. The trimmer looks like it has been through a major battle, but the important parts are still working.

Thanks!

Runs Like a Champ!

Runs Like a Champ!

I bought your saw last summer and have been using it again this spring for about 8hrs straight on two different days. Other then gas and bar oil and sharpening the extra chain that I also bought it runs like a champ! It has great cutting ability and more than enough power.

I own 5 acres of land and have been thinking about moving to wood heat for my home. After the buying this saw it has been so easy to make this decision for my family.

Keep up the good work and technology

Bravo ECHO

I am so impressed with the ECHO gas-powered weed-eater that I purchased three years ago, I wanted to congratulate your company for making such a superior product.

I live in the country and over the past seven years, I have gone through three weed-eaters and spent countless hours trying to get them to start, or untangling string that wouldn't come out properly. If any one of those three had been any lighter, or me heavy enough, I would have hurled each as far as I could in utter frustration.

Bravo to you and your company. I just fired up my ECHO again yesterday after our long winter, and once again, it started within the first few tries. I sincerely thank you.

ECHO and the Show Go On!

Dear ECHO,

I am Lee LeCaptain, owner of the International Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show am very PROUD to use ECHO products. We have been using ECHO Chain Saws and products in the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show for the past six years. During this time we have never had any problems with any ECHO brand products. However, we have had many accolades.

ECHO is reliable, durable, and an indispensable product for the professional. My favorite saws are the Professional CS-530, and the Professional CS-680.

Thanks ECHO for making my job much easier!

An Easy Decision

I am emailing you about my ECHO SRM-2400 String Trimmer that I purchased in August of 1998. I did not know the quality of this product when I bought it. A friend of mine recommended it to me and I am glad that he did. It has, without a doubt, been the best lawn maintenance product that I have ever purchased. I have used it for almost 12 years and the only thing other than a head or two that I have had to replace has been a pull rope. It starts on the first or second pull every time. I have used it on my yard and a couple other yards that I take care of each summer. I am thinking that in the near future I will be looking to purchase a new string trimmer. Having owned this ECHO for almost 12 years makes my decision very easy. I hope the quality of my next one will be as good as my last one.

Thanks,

ECHO CS-530…SWEET!

About 2 years ago I bought a CS-370. I run that saw hard and cut uncountable amount of wood without 1 single problem. It started with 2 pulls cold and 1/2 pull when warmed up. I was very pleased with the performance of that saw for the size of it. Was so pleased, that I decided I need a little more power that I bought a CS-530 the other day. THIS SAW IS SWEET!!!! I had my dealer/good friend, set it up with the 16" bar instead of the 20" it came with. This thing flat out screams. I can cut 4 times faster with it than with the 370. Never knew a chain saw can throw big chips 10 feet. With the .325 pitch chain and 16" bar it will fly through a log. When I got it home it only took 2 pulls to start cold and less then 1/2 pull to start warmed up. This combination makes this saw so nice. Still well balanced and the weight won't break your back or your wallet. I know I am an echo fan for sure now. As far as I am concerned, I won't even think about other brands. Going to go see Rodger about a weedeater now. Keep up the good work making good, dependable and affordable power tools.

ES-2100 - 15 Years of Performance

I have an ECHO Power Blower PB-210E that I have had since 1994. Before that, it belonged to my son who had his own landscaping business. I am not sure when he purchased it however, but it has and does run like a clock. I have never had to make any repairs to it. I utilize it during summer and winter. It is used 52 weeks a year, as I live in the woods with many oak trees and leaves. ECHO is still my son’s most used product as he is and has been a golf course superintendent since 1994. Thank you again for a fine product.

PB-210E Still Going Strong Since before 1994

I bought this piece of equipment 15 years ago. It has performed perfectly. This is the best piece of garden equipment I have ever owned. 15 years and its never had anything go wrong with it and can sit for six months and then fire up after a couple of pulls. Congratulations on a truly exceptional product!

Dependable Service for 27 Years!

I recently treated myself to a new ECHO Trimmer, model SRM-230, and hope that I enjoy the same performance and longevity I have depended upon for the last twenty seven years with my last ECHO trimmer! Yes, I purchased the only trimmer I have ever owned back in 1982, an ECHO, model SRM-200AE, which has provided me great dependable service for 27 years.

With yearly fall maintenance and only one carburetor replacement and a few spark plugs, my ECHO trimmer and I have out lasted the weeds year after year. With me pushing sixty years of age, I only hope I'll be able to out-last my new ECHO trimmer. I'll be 87 in twenty seven years but God will-in, I'll still be able to take my ECHO out for a spin!

Thanks for great product!

Another Superior ECHO Product

I just have to tell you that I recently purchased a CS-370 as my then current chainsaw failed me when I needed it. I don't need a chainsaw all that often but when I do, it must be reliable. We live in a hilly and reasonably heavily forested area and recently the local power company came through and removed trees along a power line running over our property. I should say that they remove the smaller branches, leaves etc. but leave the trunks and larger branches. Given the size and location of the trunks, I had to cut them up and welcomed the firewood. After pulling on my then current saw until I was blue in the face, I gave up and purchased the CS-370. As expected, it started on the 2nd pull out of the box and went through the tree trunks so quickly and easily I couldn't believe it. For the first time and after wasting money on three chainsaws before I purchased the Echo, the saw did the work, not me. It is a comfort to know that I now have a reliable, dependable saw as we have had trees fall very near our home, across the road etc. from time to time and a chainsaw is a necessity even though it is not needed on a regular basis. Another superior Echo product, my third and counting. I can only hope that you don't begin manufacturing something like landing gear assemblies for 747s since I am now such a fan, that if you did, painted it orange and put an Echo name on it, I'd probably buy it even though I don't have a plane of any sort, much less a 747.

ECHO Keeps Building Quality Products

I bought an Echo SRM-2400 trimmer 10 yrs ago. My wife thought I was nuts for spending nearly $150 more than what the other trimmers were selling for. I explained to her how this trimmer was lighter and how it was balanced. I also explained to her that it will probably be the last trimmer that I will ever have to buy. Other than a couple of new spools and spark plug I have not had one problem with the trimmer. Every season it starts on one pull.

I just purchased my first Echo leaf blower. To my surprise I could not believe how quiet and how well balanced it was. My old blower had to be twice as loud and would vibrate to the point where at least one a month I would have to go through it and tighten everything down. As long as Echo keeps building quality products like this I will purchase nothing but Echo products.

Old Faithful

Thought you might get a kick out of this. In August of 1979 my family bought an Echo string trimmer for my father for his birthday. (Engine model KE140DA). Last week as I was using it, I realized it was 30 years old. This little trimmer has NEVER FAILED to start, it has outlasted lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and other power equipment I have owned. I dare say, it might outlast me. Thanks for building such reliable equipment. I know I can count on Echo to get the job done! If it dies before I do, (which I doubt) I will mount it on the wall with a plaque that reads: "Old Faithful, August 1979". I LOVE this little trimmer!

GT-1000 on its 25th Year

Just a note about our trimmer, we purchased it new around 1985. It’s a GT-1000. We used it to mow our first (small) lawn for 2 years and (it) has been used for trimming since we moved to our current residence. It has countless hours on it and has never let us down. I hope if our trimmer ever dies and we buy another one it will be as good as this one.

Won’t Buy Any Other Brand

A few weeks ago, after yet another cheap string trimmer bit the dust, I purchased your SRM-230. Without a doubt, it is the best by far I have ever owned. I would have saved a great deal of money over the years if I had purchased an ECHO in the first place rather than a succession of low cost/quality trimmers. I find my self wanting to holler out of my car window when I drive by someone using a cheapo trimmer “Hey, get yourself a real trimmer!”

Our ancient chipper/shredder likewise bit the dust the other day and it clearly wasn’t worth the expense to repair. So, we now own your SC2206. Again, a wonderful product. Started on the first and very easy pull and has chipped and shredded a huge pile of debris with no apparent effort. My wife enjoys working with it so much, I’m afraid she’ll start raiding neighbors’ houses at night looking for things to chip once there is nothing left at ours.

All that is left is my heavy and not terribly efficient chain saw but I use it so rarely that I can’t find a good reason to replace it with an ECHO. It would be a real shame though, if I happened to be on the roof with the chain saw and it happened to slip out of my hand and it happened to shatter on the pavement below. I guess then I’d have to buy an ECHO. I mean, I'd have no choice, right? Stranger things have happened. You make wonderful products. I wish I had discovered them long before now. I won’t buy any brand but ECHO in the future.

Will Own Nothing But ECHO

I purchased a 32 cc steel shaft brush cutter 9 years ago. I have used it for brushcutting and weed eating. It has NEVER failed me yet. All I have ever had to do to it is put a new gas line and a new air filter on it. I just purchased an ECHO CS-530 chain saw. I love it. I have used other brands of saws in the past. It is very nice when you go to cut to be able to cut and not have to work on the saw to get to run. I will NEVER own nothing but ECHO products in the future.

Great Products

I personally own a Echo hedge trimmer, string trimmer and chainsaw and they are all the best equipment I have had the experience to use. I work as a landscaper for a company and Echo is the only way we go. Your products has saved us time and money on many job sites. I would not recommend a different outdoor name brand to anyone. Just wanted to let you guys know what great products you have out on the market and how they have made my everyday life easier out on the job.

Built to Last

This is the most amazing story on the quality of Echo equipment. I purchased a new Echo chainsaw in 1995. I have taken this chain saw camping every time we go so we can harvest dead firewood. In November 2006, my best friend and I went camping on the Indian River in Florida. The weather turned very cold and windy as we set up the camp. My chain saw was used three months prior on another camping trip. The chain saw was accidentally dropped into the salt water and placed back in the case. I was unaware of this until I opened the case. Mind you this chain saw is nearly 11 years old and has been used in the harshest salt-water conditions. The chain saw was sitting in salt water and the chain had rusted to the bar. The aluminum fins on the engine were corroded together. The pull cord only pulled out and would not retract due to the salt-water corrosion. We had less than one hour of sunlight. My friend looked at the chain saw and told me it was done. I worked on the chain saw for about thirty minutes and finally freed up the chain. I tapped on the front sprocket until it would move. I added new gas and moved the pull cord around until it would pull all the way out. I primed the saw and it STARTED. This was amazing as I thought my old saw was finally done. I can't kill this saw. It has outlasted ALL of my friend's chain saws. If it were not for the Echo quality and durability, we would have had a long, cold camping trip. I recently purchased a new Echo 306 chain saw and I am keeping the old one. My Echo string trimmer and blower are also nearly 11 years old and run fine... This story is factual and amazing.

Good Job,

1982 Chain Saw

I was just on your web site for the first time. I was reading some customer letters. 2 of my neighbors and myself each purchased a new Echo 500VL at the same dealer on the same day. That was in 1982. Mine still runs like new. Couldn't tell you how many 20" chains I've gone through but it still has the original bar. I cut between 6-8 cord of wood every year. I've rebuilt the carb just once. I change the plug every couple of years. It still runs like brand new. As for the other 2 that were bought that day I have them both. Got them after their owners passed away. They also run like new. Best money ever spent.

ECHO Blower Survives Fire

Burnt Blower

My name is Kevin and I live in West Frankfort, Illinois. I thought I would write and share a story with you. For the last three years I have experimented with a number of trimmers and backpack blowers, and I, in my opinion, believed that your line of ECHO products were the most durable, and reliable, as well as dependable. On February 9, 2005, my garage and contents were destroyed by fire. The following Saturday, I began tearing down what little was left of my once home away from home, in which I recovered the remaining shafts of my beloved SRM-230 and SRM-260 trimmers. I also recovered what was once my favorite backpack blower, which was fairly identifiable, a PB-260L. Most of it was scalded, melted, and quite deformed, I couldn't believe that the fuel tank had not melted, as well as any of the fuel lines, most of it was beyond recognition. Just for giggles, I reached through a blob of plastic and pushed the primer bulb about three times, and pulled the starter cord. To my disbelief it fired and ran, as well as idled, throttled, and blew air. I was very impressed, even though I was impressed before with my ECHO equipment, but this has made me a life long user of your products. I will ONLY purchase ECHO equipment for my lawn business. I thought I would express my appreciation, as well as my tragic yet unbelievable story to you, and thank…the entire ECHO TEAM, on a superior product that you stand behind. I now am a true lifelong user of your outdoor power equipment, and will preach to other fellow equipment users I may come across, my strong opinion of your well-built products.

Thank you once again,

ECHO Reliability

Thanks for a Reliable Product

I would like to thank those at ECHO who are in charge of making sure your products are reliable. I just finished my second year of running my own landscaping business. The trimmers that I bought when I started are running without a problem, and the hedge clippers that I bought this season worked great. My employees know that we use ECHO products because they are reliable. I want all of my customers and fellow landscapers to know we use ECHO just by looking at us. Thank you for your products and services.

Assorted ECHO Products

Willing to Spend the Money

I just spent more money than I could have, but know I'd be regretting it later if I didn't.

Although I didn't know it at the time, my first ECHO was on the Mantis Roto-tiller. I've had it now for over 10 years, and was amazed at how easily it started all the time.

My next ECHO was a small (12" chain saw, the CS-3000. I was up in the mountains about 5 years ago and my only chain saw (24" broke. The work I was doing had to get done, or it would have meant months of re-scheduling. I went to the closest hardware store and…spent two hundred dollars on the smallest one I could. I figured I could get by with it, was I ever wrong. Of all the chain saws I own or have ever owned, that saw has been the most reliable and easiest to start. It is now the most used and favorite saw.

This summer (2004) I wanted to buy a gas powered leaf blower. I didn't want to spend the extra money for the ECHO, but I knew I had to if I wanted the tool to work for me, instead of me working on the tool.

Thanks for making a quality product.

1977 Chain Saw

1977 Saw I bought an ECHO 302 chain saw in 1977. Although I have used it occasionally for firewood cutting, I really did not know its capabilities until Hurricane Charley. Maitland, a suburb of Orlando, Florida, took a direct hit from Charley. Many trees down in the neighborhood with most roads blocked. The neighbors came together to open the roads and take the trees off of rooftops. Hurricane Tree I ran my elderly saw for 3 days straight and it outperformed all the other small chainsaws (most new) to the point that others laid their saws down and started moving the limbs and logs that the ECHO was chewing through almost faster than they could keep up. It started easily (last service probably 10 years ago) and with a sharp, well-oiled chain was unstoppable. Great machine.

Thanks,

1978 Chain Saw

Still Running After 25 Years

Back around 1978, I bought my first chainsaw, an ECHO VL 500. I chose this model because my Dad owned one that gave him very little trouble. Over the years, many people have made fun of my chainsaw but the joke is on them, it is a great saw. I have worked construction off and on for fifteen years. The company that I work for uses only Stihl, most of which are new. I can't begin to count the number of days that I wished I had my ECHO with me to show them what a real chainsaw runs like. I am very demanding of a chainsaw and can honestly say that this saw suits me just fine, (it’s) strong and dependable. After 25 years of faithful service, my ECHO is still running strong, as is my Dad's.

Sincerely,
Joe M.
