ECHO Launches Professional Hand Pruners

May 30, 2018

Branching out into the hand-tool market, ECHO Inc. has launched three new hand pruners to its professional line of products. The HP-43, HP-44, and the HP-62 are the newest designs in high quality pruners - now part of the ECHO family.

Each pruner features a precision ground, high carbon, forged steel, cutting blade that stays sharper longer when compared to stainless steel or low carbon steel blades. The cutting blades are TEFLON® coated to prevent corrosion and rust while providing smooth, low friction cutting.

Each pruner is unique with specific features based on the user’s preferences. The HP-43 features gear technology that multiplies leverage to provide 3 times more power on every cut to reduce strain on your hands and wrists. The HP-44 has an adjustable large or small grip size with just a flip of a switch, perfect for a variety of cutting and pruning jobs. The HP-62 offers ergonomically designed aluminum handles that fit the shape and natural motion of the user’s hand, has a 1-inch cut capacity and a cutting blade that can be sharpened or replaced to maintain superior cutting performance.

“We are excited to jump into the hand tool market with the professional-grade HP series. Hand pruners are essential tools for landscapers and garden enthusiasts. Users know value doesn’t come from spending too much. That the best tools are the ones that work, plain and simple. It was our goal to produce a quality tool at a reasonable price point for all users,” says Jason Wilk, ECHO Inc. Product Manager. Retail prices vary from $19.99 - $24.99.

All three pruners, the HP-43, HP-44, and the HP-62 are backed by ECHO’s limited lifetime warranty. Each model becomes available at local ECHO Dealers this spring.
